Back on the lost gold rings
One of the most beautiful thing in the metal detector is to find the golden rings. I must admit that when I realize that the gold ring, I found a ring of class, there is a moment of disappointment. My hungry eyes see dollar signs and I must admit I will try to keep the ring and sell it for scrap. I put my ethical standards in relation to metal to feel good about myself and what I do. This is how I now deal with the search for a reusable gold ring. If I am asked what specifically looking for a lost gold ring, I have no problem with it and want to return to the ring. If I see a ring of any class and I was not invited, they seek to find, I deal with it differently.
The thing about the class struggle is that they usually someone within the initial group. If the ring is a local high school, I go to school and see the directory for the year you can usually find on the front of the ring. I try to match names with initials in the graduating class. I’ll explain it to a school official, I am doing and see if they can help me find the individual. I make reasonable efforts to return the ring, but I’m not promoting the money to go to extremes to find the owner. When the owner of the ring does not affect me, after I made several attempts to contact them, I think the ring. I have lots of gold rings, returned to the people in the past and continue to do so. When I managed to find the owner of a ring that was lost for 54 years. As in this case, the good feelings you get in return a ring that may have sentimental value to the original owner is sometimes more valuable than gold itself.
