When and where to hike

The alternative to Round Robin target market. I’ve never been someone who would take me hiking or the drive you found me on a pre-arranged parking at my entrance walk. I think most of my backpacking trip from mid-October to mid-April. Hikers parties are pretty twisted hibernating in front of a television with a view of the cold. I recommend going early in moderate weather, and experience to get on backpacking trips in cold weather.

So now we have found that when they backpack, let us where to look backpack. I now live in the mid-Atlantic United States. In less than 45 minutes from my house I can trail on a regional or national park in his backpack. No matter where I lived, I was never at a loss for hiking trails.

In the mid – Atlantic, there are:

The Appalachian Trail – with many entry points, a lot of good maps and a lot of resources, ie, shelters, homes and water.

The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Trail – A beginners’ area, excellent hiking. Very original and very flat. It was the towpath for the mules that pulled the old barges along the Potomac in the days pre railway. It does not grow in height, but very slowly and it is smooth.

Shenandoah National Park – In cooperation with the National Park of George Washington and an excellent campsite. Both have hiking trails that will suit beginners and experienced backpackers. Advanced Excel tents in the desert of the family day hikes, the two institutions.

For the top you can go online and order maps and guides that will be useful, you can start with the backpack goal, hiking solo, finally possible.

There are also many state parks, opportunities for hiking and camping.

I must say though, that you will never be too old to enjoy backpacking. It will start at a young age and backpacking solo to get into your blood. You want to get out maps and books, and start providing the backpack.
